Free Parking is provided by Forest City in the Tower City and Network Parking Lots around Public Square
The RALLY is open to the PUBLIC. Plan on arriving around 10:00 AM to greet the procession of motorcycles arriving into downtown Public Square. MONICA ROBINS of WKYC will sing the National Anthem and MC the Rally. A tribute to Ohio’s Fallen Hero’s and all veterans is planned. Additionally all returning veterans from Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom will be “WELCOMED HOME” in an effort to express our appreciation for their service and sacrifices and the sacrifices of their families. Please invite all returning veterans to meet downtown at 10:30 for a processional march into Public Square. THE RALLY WILL TAKE PLACE REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER. In the event of bad weather please come by car, as it’s important to express our continuing support for the sacrifices of our troops and their families.
There will be group motorcycle departures from all of the Harley Davidson dealerships in North East Ohio to downtown Cleveland. Please contact the closest HD dealerships for more details.
Post Rally Food and Entertainment at Cleveland Harley Davidson Sales Company from 12:30 to 2:30PM located at 14550 Lorain Road.

The August 10th Meeting was held at the Sip N Post in North Royalton. It began with a ride for the East Siders from the Home Depot in Highland Heights and ended at the Sip N Post in North Royalton. The meeting minutes are in the members area. More Photos

The July 13th monthly meeting took place at Blazin Bills. We all had a great time and stuffed ourselves on ribs, burgers, and other filling entres. Best of all, Blazin Bills has a newly blacktopped parking lot. That was a big help to anyone riding. That would be all of us!

Wednesday June 8th the meeting was held at the London Pickle Works. Located at Fitzwater and Brecksville Roads in Brecksville, OH. Riders from the East Side of Cleveland, met at the Home Depot, on Wilson Mills Road in Highland Heights, OH at 1800 for a ride to the Pickle. RK Bob Zogg was back in town for a short stay and everyone enjoyed seeing him again and hearing how things are going down in Virginia. It was a good turnout and a nice night for a ride.

The Spring Rally of the Ohio Association is June 4th in Vermilion, Ohio. The flyer and register form are attached. If you have not registered yet, please do so ASAP so that they have a good count for dinner. Per Bill Snodgrass, Secretary of the RKMC Ohio Association, “We have 65 members register as of today. It looks like this will be one of the best attended Ohio Association events yet and we do not want you to miss it.”
Ohio 12 has done a great job to make you enjoy the gathering. We will have a Ohio Association meeting from 5:30 to 6:00 pm Saturday night followed by dinner, dancing and fellowship.
We encourage you to be part of the Spring Rally.

The 9th Annual Rally For The Troops was organized by RK John “Kiks” Kikol as an expression of support for our active military, veterans, and the families of our Nations Fallen Heroes. It was held at Cleveland, Ohio’s Public Square. RK and U.S.Army Col. Don Spaner spoke at the Rally which was held on May 1st.

9th Annual Rally for Troops Sunday May 1st at 11:00 AM in Cleveland Public Square
The 9th Annual Rally for Troops will be held on Sunday May 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM in downtown Cleveland’s Public Square. As in past years the Rally expresses our support for out active military, veterans and the families of our Nations Fallen Heroes. As the organizer of the Rally, I am asking your support by attending and forwarding this email to all your contacts inviting them to also attend the Rally.
Speakers will include Mr James Carroll, whose son Army Sgt. Patrick R. Carroll was KIA in Kandahar Afghanistan on February 7, 2011 and Barbara Deyarmin, whose son Marine Lance Cpl. Daniel Nathan Deyarmin was KIA in Iraq on August 1, 2005 as a member of the 3/25 Marine Brookpark Ohio unit that lost 48 fellow soldiers in a period of approximately four months in Iraq, of which 22 were from Ohio. World War II Marine Tommie Farcus will also say a few words on behalf of his fellow soldiers many that were KIA on the beaches of Iwo Jima.
Monica Robins of WKYC will MC the Rally and sing the National Anthem. Your support of the Rally is greatly appreicated and there is free parking at Tower City and Network Parking Lots. The Rally has been supported by all the Harley Davidson dealerships in North East Ohio, Leathernecks, Rolling Thunder, American Legon Riders, Patriot Guard and many other organizations. The public is certainly invited to attend as this is not exclusively a motorcycle event.

The 2011 Ride For A Reason III will be held on Sunday June 26th. This Tri-State Poker Run was a big success last year with the route going through parts of 3 states (WV, PA, OH). Last years ride was well attended and well organized. It is sponsored by Red Knights Chapter WV VI. See last years writeup and Gallery photos on this site. WV-VI website
Registration is at 10 am and All Bikes are out at 11:30am. This is a group ride with traffic held at intersections. Registration and start are at the New Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department, Route 2, New Cumberland, WV
$25.00 per bike and $15.00 per passanger
Pre-registered participants will receive a free 2011 “Ride For A Reason” pin and year bar
Ride ends at “Krazy Bout Sportz”, 2850 Weir Avenue, Weirton, WV 26062
Dinner included with registration - Sausage Sandwiches, Fried Chicken, Riggatonni, Parsley Potatos, Dessert, Iced Tea, Coffee, Water
Legal Beverages can be purchased at the bar.

On Memorial day weekend I took delivery of a new HD FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited. I traded in the 05 Ultra Classic Peace Office Special I had. The dealings with the dealership in Cleveland were just fantastic. I will be in the area on July 4th and following weekend……Sim
